TELedvisors Network promo video instructions
We are creating a 30 second promotional video about the TELedvisors Network to show at the ASCILITE 2026 conference and beyond.
We would like to celebrate our members in this video, so the plan is for anyone involved to record themselves reading a simple script in a Zoom meeting recording. From there, we will edit together people saying individual words or phrases. The words will also appear above people in the top left corner – so the video can be played on a loop without audio.
This is a rough mock-up of what the video will look like.
(The top left text will show each individual word)
For this to work, we need a few things:
- Consistent background (use the attached image as your Zoom background)
- Speak clearly and try to leave space between words (within reason)
- Position yourself in the centre of the frame (16:9 widescreen) and leave space so that the upper left text and TELedvisors logos are visible
- Ideally .mp4 format
Here are two background images to use in Zoom.
Please use the image titled “TELeds PROMO Zoom BG Framing ONLY.png” as a background to position yourself and then switch background in Zoom to “TELeds PROMO Zoom BG.png” to do your recording

The ASCILITE TELedvisors Network is a community of practitioners for people who work in the tertiary education third space – people like learning designers, academic developers and educational technologists.
We advocate for these workers, provide professional development, build community and support research to develop understanding of this vital work.
